| Big end bearings | M11 bolt - 12-point head Re-use existing bolt if undamaged, ensuring that it is replaced in original position. Tighten in the following stages. 5 Nm 30 Nm 70° M10 bolt - torx head In order to reach their full tensile strength these bolts must be tightened at least three times, but no more than five times. When re-fitting existing con rods use new bolts and tighten as follows: 5 Nm 30 Nm 105° Slacken off 360° or if checking bearing clearance remove cap 5 Nm 30 Nm 105° Slacken off 360° 5 Nm 30 Nm 105° When fitting new con-rods with pre-stretched bolts tighten as follows: 5 Nm 30 Nm 105° Slacken off 360° or if checking bearing clearance remove cap 5 Nm 30 Nm 105°. |
