Car Giveaway – Full Transparency

From time to time, I plan to personally give away a car as a thank you to people who follow the builds and use the site.

Any giveaway will be funded entirely by my own personal income, after tax. It is not funded directly by site traffic, ad revenue, purchases, or donations.

There is no cost to enter, and no purchase is required. This is not a lottery, raffle, or paid competition.

If and when a giveaway goes ahead, full details will be published clearly on this page.

Planned Giveaway Vehicle

The planned giveaway vehicle is a 2016–2018 Ford Focus RS. Final specification, condition, and timing will be confirmed if the giveaway proceeds.

The vehicle will be purchased and owned personally before being given away.

Giveaway Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all giveaways run by Mechanic’s Converter. By entering, you agree to the terms below.

1. Promoter

The promoter is the owner of Mechanic’s Converter (“the Promoter”). This giveaway is independently funded using the Promoter’s personal income and is not sponsored or administered by any third party.

2. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
• Employees, contractors, or immediate family of the Promoter are excluded.

3. Entry

• Entry is free.
• No purchase is required.
• One entry per person.
• Entries must be submitted via the official entry form.

4. Prize

The prize will be a motor vehicle, details of which will be confirmed on this page. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries once the giveaway closes. The Promoter’s decision is final.

6. Tax & Legal

Under current UK law:

• The prize is not subject to income tax for the winner.
• The Promoter does not receive taxable income from running the giveaway.

The winner is responsible for insurance, road tax, licensing, and running costs.

7. Vehicle Condition

The vehicle will be provided as described at the time of announcement. No warranty is offered beyond legal requirements.

8. Giveaway Status

The giveaway may be listed as Planning, Active, Paused, or Completed. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway if required.

9. Governing Law

This giveaway is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
