Bedplate to engine block - tighten bolts in the following stages: 1-2 = 8 Nm 3-12 = 8 Nm 13-24 = 30 Nm + 130° 1-12:→2008 (M8 x 94) = 15 Nm + 100° 2008→ (M9 x 97) = 15 Nm + 130° 25-47 = 5 Nm + 90° 48-50 = 5 Nm + 60° 51-52 = 15 Nm If renewing bolts 13-24, the following sequence replaces step 3: 13-24 = 30 Nm + 130° Slacken off 360° 13-24 = 30 Nm + 130° Slacken off 360° 13-24 = 30 Nm + 130° Use Loctite 193140 sealant and inject it into bedplate/engine block joints. Allow sealant to flow out both sides, remove excess and apply Loctite 17100 hardener to seal off. ![]() |
