Assemble components within 5 minutes. Excess sealant can cause engine damage. Tighten bolts in the following stages: 1-14 = 8 Nm 1-2 = 180° 3-9 = 45° 10 = 180° 11-14 = 90° fig3 Timing chain cover with 8 bolts = 4 Nm + 45° Timing chain cover with 15 bolts = 8 Nm + 45° Oil baffle plate = 4 Nm + 45° Lower sump: Use new bolts.
